Sanitation/Waste Dispatcher
Job Description
Fuzion Field Services is hiring a Dispatcher to join our Sanitation Team. This position is responsible for dispatching drivers and loads. The ideal candidate possesses prior dispatch experience with a trucking company and waste/potable/oil field knowledge is highly desired.
Preferred candidates possess the following skills and experience
- Strong background in logistics
- Assist to ensure compliance of daily route sheets
- Track and update board showing disposal volumes & collection times or services
- Provide information to Logistics Manager on issues that need to be escalated
- Solid understanding of hours of service allowed for CDL drivers
- DOT Compliance and administration of all reporting procedures
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Must confront and resolve performance or service issues with drivers and customers effectively
- Ability to facilitate multiple projects and remain productive under pressure
- Maintain dispatch records to ensure prompt and accurate billing
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
- Schedule and coordinate the movement of employees and equipment in the field in a manner that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations
- Record service disruptions, times, and action taken and keep an open line of communication between the customer and crews
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented, excellent organization skills and logistic experience
- Must be able to read maps and utilize GPS systems
- Assigning tractors & work assignment
- Waste & potable knowledge preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of DOT safety regulations including driver logs
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- Must speak Spanish and English fluently
- Must live in the Northern Colorado area
Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00am — 5:30pm
And
1 Saturday/month 6:30am — 1:00pm
Pay Range
Work from home = $24/hour
In-Office = $25/hour
